    Very nice - toilets at the carpark. Lots of freshwater crocs to see after a relatively short easy walk, you do not have to walk the whole track. We did Tunnel Creek first and worked our way back to Windjana Gorge but given how hot the day was, it would have been better to do Windjana earlier in the cooler part of the day and then gone on to the cooler air and waters of Tunnel Creek during the heat of the day.

    Edge of the mighty Gibb River Road. Need medium fitness levels for access and walks. It’s beautiful. Brilliant for birdwatchers, croc enthusiasts or budding geologists. Sad story of Jandamarra, but great for kids to bring curriculum alive. Longer hike great. Savannah walk dawn or dusk for kangaroo views. Definitely worth a few nights stay. Could be done as a LONG day trip from Broome.
